Types
of presentation
- Paper The
time for the presentation of a paper will be 20 minutes including
time for discussion.
Please, prepare an abstract (maximum length 800 words). Deadline
for receipt of abstract is November 30, 2001. You will be notified
of the review outcome by January 15, 2002. The final abstract
version to be published in the conference proceedings is due on
March 1, 2002.
- Poster
/ Demonstration Posters and demonstrations will
be presented in special sessions.
Please, prepare an abstract (maximum length 300 words). Deadline
for receipt of abstract is November 30, 2001. You will be notified
of the review outcome by January 15, 2002. The final abstract
version to be published in the conference proceedings is due on
March 1, 2002.
Submissions after these dates are possible as long as there
is enough space available, but these posters / demonstrations
will not be included in the conference proceedings.
- Special
Interest Group To specific themes Special Interest
Groups can be organized. There are two hour time slots reserved
for the Special Interest Groups. Organizers of Special Interest
Groups are responsible for the papers presented in their sessions.
Please, prepare an abstract (maximum length 800 words) describing
the rational of the Special Interest Group and state the name
of possible participants. Such a session should include 5 to 6
papers. Deadline for receipt of abstract is November 30, 2001.
You will be notified of the review outcome by January 15, 2002.
The final abstract version to be published in the conference proceedings
is due on March 1, 2002.
- Tutorial Tutorials
are systematic presentations of topics; they may be introductory
or advanced. Tutorials usually are for a half day.

- Interactive
Session Interactive Sessions will bring people
and research centers from all over the world to the WWDU 2002
conference site.
Please, prepare an abstract (maximum length 800 words) describing
the rational of the Interactive Session and state the name of
possible participants. Deadline for receipt of abstract is November
30, 2001. You will be notified of the review outcome by January
15, 2002. The final abstract version to be published in the conference
proceedings is due on March 1, 2002.
Abstract
Submission
An abstract should state the title
of the presentation, the name and affiliation of all authors and
the abstract text (not exceeding the 300 or 800 words limit, see
above). Please, select one of the topics of the conference that
is most appropriate for your abstract.
You can submit an abstract either by
- filling out this form and writing
the abstract in the text fields provided.
- sending it by e-mail to wwdu2002@wwdu.org
- sending a CD-ROM with your abstract
(ASCII Text, Rich Text Format or Microsoft Word Document) to the
WWDU 2002 Secretary.
If you wish to submit more than
one abstract, please, submit each abstract separately.
