The Berchtesgadener Land (select "Berchtesgaden") invites you to visit its grandiose Alpine landscape with the majestic Watzmann and to enjoy the old houses with its fresco works and paintings as well as the Royal Palace with its cloisters.

By Train
There are train connections from Munich, Innsbruck, Vienna and Salzburg (Timetable).

By Car
Coming via Autobahn from either Munich or Innsbruck, exit Bad Reichenhall, coming from Salzburg or Vienna, exit at Berchtesgaden (note: you will need a highway toll sticker!)
A nice way to arrive is via the German Alpine Road (B 305).

By Plane
Salzburg Airport (about 20 km away), Munich Airport (about 180 km away). Shuttle bus transfers are possible from both airports. Please, find the nonstop connections to Salzburg "W.A. Mozart" from other International Airports in Europe in the following table:
