Arriving by car. There is an underground park garage before the Conference Cente with a special rate for the Conference Center of Euro 3,50/day.

Excursions
Excursions are scheduled during the Conference. You may choose between German and English guides. For detailed information see "Tours" on Supporting Program. It is still possible to register. We kindly ask for payment cash on site.
There is no session on Thursday after 3:30 pm, and you are free to use this time as you wish. However, if enough people are interested, we offer group excursions to
Lake Königssee (20 Euro/23 USD)
Salt Mines (20 Euro/23 USD).
Begin at 3.45 pm.
Sign-up sheets will be made available on Tuesday and on Wednesday until 3:00 pm.

Social events
Keep in mind: All participants and accompanying persons are invited to the complimentary Welcome Reception on May 22 (see page 11). BUT: Reservations required.
The Bavarian Dinner (May 23, page 19) offers a chance to sample Bavaria's culture and cuisine.

Accompanying Persons are welcome to the Opening and Closing Sessions and the Welcome Reception.

Congress material
You will receive on site the proceedings and information material about Berchtesgaden.

CD-ROM with Proceedings
The Proceedings are available on a CD-ROM as PDF-file. You may purchase the CD-ROM for 25,00 Euro/USD (incl. 16% VAT) during the conference. Later on it will be offered for 40,00 Euro/USD (incl. 16% VAT) plus shipping. Presenters of papers will get the opportunity for producing individual reprints of their personal presentations with a WWDU2002 cover as much as they want.

Internet Café
There will be an Internet Café in the hall where you may have a look to your e-mails and to interesting wep-pages.

Food
Complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks, and baked goods will be provided during the coffee breaks.
The congress center restaurant offers a lunch buffet for a reasonable rate. There are many other restaurants near the center.
